Free eBook - Work and Web Women

Free eBook -

Work and Web Women Every day women are leaving their 9-5 jobs, turning dreams of working at home into stories of real success. Once a nine-to-fiver and now self-employed, I know all about the joys and pains of being a work at home mom. Unlike working for someone else, self-employment often requires long hours and little pay. However, for those of us who have a genuine passion for what we do and stick to the dream, the end result is so sweet!

I decided to create the Work and Web Women eBook, as a free and very informative look into what the Work and Web Women website / vision is all about. In this guide, I do more than simply talk about the site. It includes information about some of my favorite social networks for women entrepreneurs and work at home moms. It also includes information about Ad Networks for Women, Business Blogs, and web tools plus several of my most popular internet marketing articles.

From Making friends on Myspace to Turning Cash in to Clicks, you can read these articles and more in the Work and Web Women guide. If you are a women entrepreneur interested in building your business online or learning how to work the web, this is the eBook for you. Download a copy to day and feel free to share it with friends!

The Network for Web Women of Color

It seems like only yesterday, when I was sitting at my computer desperately searching for other ‘Web Women of Color’; business savvy ladies who were as glued to their computers as I was, blogging, making websites, and searching for new ways to make money online. My search inspired me to create the Sistas Makin Money page on myspace, which eventually gave me the idea to start Black Business Women Online, a network for Women Entrepreneurs of Color. Only a few months in the making and Black Business Women Online has turned into a network of almost 2700 women entrepreneurs. From Side Hustle Sistas to established Business Owners, the BBWO network is overflowing with women entrepreneurs who are not just promoting their own businesses, but supporting other women so more Black Women can turn their dreams into business ventures. And their are so many different types of business women on BBWO. Clothing Line Owners, Singers, Publishers, Authors, Event Planners, Bloggers, Web Designers, Magazine Creators, Actors, Preachers, Life Coaches, Cooks, Radio Hosts, Djs, Lawyers, Work at Home Moms, Cosmetic and Beauty Product Makers… the list is practically endless. I love the diversity of the group and the fact that we have a space to talk about our issues as Black Women, Moms, and Business Owners. Wanting this network to be more than simply a bulletin board of Ads, I’ve worked hard to encourage a strong sense of community on BBWO. Members are sharing advice, real business information, buying each other’s products, and tapping into our own network of business services as a way to recycle black dollars back into our community. My eyes water ever single time a new member tells me how much being apart of BBWO has changed their lives. So many women are amazed to find a network like this, and I feel so blessed to have created it. Being able to not only build my own business, but work with other women who are doing their own thing, has truly been a win win for me. I just wanted to take a moment to let you know about the Sistas Making Money on my network: Black Business Women Online. I look forward to seeing it grow even bigger in the near future. http://sistapreneurs.ning.com -Lashanda Henry
